Dukate Fine Remodeling (Franklin, Indiana) is a rare breed in the remodeling business – a 30+ year old company with hundreds of satisfied and loyal clients.

Beginning in 1988 as a design/build full service remodeler, Dukate Fine Remodeling has weathered the same economic downturns and challenges as other firms.

However, their commitment to quality and doing what is right has always provided opportunity for new work that has sustained their business and team.

What They Needed

Dukate's previous website limited their ability to update content and to showcase their work. It was not overly responsive to various devices and the load speed was not at peak performance. The owner, Mike Dukate, asked Clever Dogs Media to provide his company a solution that would help him market his business to clients who desire high quality craftsmanship in their remodeling projects.

Also, as part of the project, Mike wanted a game plan to help market his company going forward. With so many options available (from print to broadcast to digital), he needed to focus his marketing budget on target audience who needs the type of work Dukate Fine Remodeling provides. 

How We Helped

We worked with Mike and his  team on a new Marketing Plan and Website. Their Marketing Plan outlines key messages and recommended activities to generate leads and nurture the relationship with their patients. Their new website, powered by Zephyr, showcases their projects, services and team.

What We Learned

People who are considering remodeling projects want to see a finished product before they decide whom to hire. Images are especially important in today's visual society. But they are especially important for companies that do contracting work - especially high-end remodeling. We continue to see the value of professional photography in the design of today's websites.
