Over the years, this Greenwood, Indiana firm built a reputation as a trustworthy and dependable company that handles accounting for individuals and businesses, and provides an array of business services.
Originally Sherman & Armbruster, they became Compass Pointe CPAs in 2018.
What They Needed
The partners elected to change the firm's name and were contemplating how best to market themselves going forward.
The sought out a new brand (including logo), updated messaging and a new website.
Also, the firm wanted a greater presence on the web -- a place where people new to the south side of Indianapolis are likely to search for a reliable accounting and business consulting firm.
How We Helped
We facilitated a process where we helped the client identify their firm's new name and collaborated with our graphic designer to develop the new logo.
We met with the partners weekly and scoped out a program to announce the firm's new name to clients and the public. Our work included crafting talking points and a press release.
We create a new website powered by Zephyr. The site has a distinctive, modern design - with messaging directed at their targeted audiences
Finally, we created a recommended Inbound Marketing program that includes digital activities aimed at improving their Search Engine Optimization.
What We Learned
Accounting firms need to have ongoing conversations with their clients - beyond tax time. Decisions throughout a given year can have an impact on tax liabilities. That is why accountants need to constantly connect.
Also, people who need professional services most often first turn to Google to search for them. And if a firm is recommended to them, they search our its website for more information.
