Ability Allies

About Our Client

Ability Allies (formerly Disability Legal Services of Indiana) was formed in 2008 in response to a concern over the lack of affordable educational advocacy and legal services for children with disabilities, particularly in the area of education law. When faced with concerns over special education services, parents, foster parents and other caregivers often feel overwhelmed and have few places to turn for assistance. 

Ability Allies fills this void. Their attorneys review each child’s educational needs and assist the families in obtaining an appropriate educational plan, a plan designed to fit the child’s individual needs and to prepare them for further education, employment, and independent living. 

What They Needed

Ability Allies were ready for a 2.0 website to better tell their story. We had built their previous site. The organization also depends on partnership donations and grants to help pay for their staff and attorney fees. Their Strategic Plan, developed in 2018, called for a strong website presence to help share their message with potential donors and to appropriately recognize their contributions.
