About Our Client
The Legends Golf Club of Indiana was the vision of five business partners, including former Indiana University men’s basketball coach Bob Knight.
Ted Bishop, the 38th President of the PGA and General Manager of The Legends, led the startup and oversaw construction of the course, designed by famed golf architect Jim Fazio. It has been listed as high as sixth among public and private courses in Indiana.
The readers of “The Indiana Business Magazine” previously selected The Legends as “Indiana’s Best Course”.
What They Needed
Ted and his staff asked us to engage in an Inbound Marketing program to increase the number of rounds played at the course.
How We Helped
Our work included:
- coordinating and editing blogs produced by their golf professionals
- creating and editing blogs for their event services division
- creating a strategy and content for their social media channels
- upgrading their Wordpress website and managing its content
We also created an Inbound Marketing plan, which included buyer personas and messaging.
What We Learned
We saw excellent engagement numbers on video blogs that featured golfing tips from PGA Professional Crystal Morse.
